A non-refundable deposit of 30% is due when the order is placed. The balance must be paid 1 week before pickup/delivery.

Payment methods – direct deposit into my account, credit card, or paypal.

If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is responsible for the remaining balance. Southwest Special Occasions will make every attempt to contact the client in the event of a missed pickup date or denied delivery. If a cancellation of cake is made less than four weeks prior to delivery/pick up, the balance is due in full. No changes can be made to invoices less than four weeks prior to delivery date. Please note delivery/setup time is final as noted on your invoice. Changes to delivery/setup must be confirmed no later than four weeks prior to event.

In order to secure a booking for glasses/cake stand you must pay in full at the time of booking and a $50 cash bond is required on the day of pick up, this will be fully refunded when the items are returned to us in clean and original state. 
Every effort is made to ensure that our high standards are met so we will re-clean the glasses/cake stand, if you want to return uncleaned glasses/cake stands there will be an additional cost. 
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the equipment is returned on the agreed day/date.  A continuation of hire fee will be charged if the equipment is not back by the due date.  No refunds will be issued for early return. 
A hire fee & bond is charged.  Hire fees may vary according to the style of glasses. 
The glasses must be returned cleaned and in original condition to receive the bond back. 
The glass hire is for 48hrs after collection unless prior arrangement is made. Any breakages must be reported immediately. 
If you feel that damage is caused by any staff member of the venue, you must take it up with them, we do not accept responsibility for damage occurred at a venue. 
The named person on the booking form is the person responsible for the glasses/cake stands. 


In the event of cancellation:

1.   All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.

2.   If a cancellation is received, the aforementioned deposit will not refundable.

3.   If a cancellation is received less four weeks prior to the promised delivery date, the full aforementioned deposit and balance are due in full. 

Cancellation one week or less prior to the hire date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total contract price. Cancellation within forty-eight (48) hours of the hire will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total contract price.
